Wasn’t too sure what I was getting myself into when I decided to go for this little projector. Saw some good chatter about it online and the price was just too good to pass up. Man, was I blown away when I took it out of the box. It’s tinier than one of those bookshelf speakers and way lighter. Setting it up was a breeze, and getting around the menu was even simpler. Hooking up a firestick was a no-brainer and I got it running in under 10 minutes. Check out the video I posted – it looks killer, even just projected on the side of my house. And yeah, it gets even better with a proper screen. The built-in speaker’s decent enough for hanging out with a few friends. Bet hooking up a soundbar would make it insane. You can pop it on a tripod or a little stand, which is perfect for movie nights outside. Used to lug around an old Epson for our outdoor flicks. It was cool but missing a bunch of stuff like USB and wifi, and always needed a laptop. This new one? Blown away, honestly. Can’t wait to bring it camping. That old saying, “you get what you pay for”? Doesn’t apply here. This thing’s a steal for its quality and features. Sure, there’s fancier 4k ones out there, but they’ll run you way more cash. Just get this one and save your dough. Trust me, you won’t regret it.

Been trying out this projector for a week now. So far, it’s fitting my needs pretty well. It’s missing a couple of things I wish it had, but hey, for 80 bucks, I’m not gonna complain. If it keeps up like this, it’s gonna be a solid buy. Will keep you posted.
Here’s the rundown:
Pros:
Handles 1080p, Bluetooth, HDMI like a champ
Comes with a remote, so no need to fiddle with the projector itself to change stuff
The throw distance is pretty good, plus it’s got keystone and zoom adjustments
Super straightforward to set up and start using
Compact and looks sharp
Super quiet, which is awesome
Cons:
Can’t shift the projection without tilting the whole unit, which kinda messes up the picture
1080p could be clearer, especially on a 50 inch screen. Reading small text is tough, but that’s on me since it’s advertised as 1080p
Zoom range is limited from 75% to 100%
Manual keystone correction only
Brightness settings could use more flexibility. You’ve got three presets but no way to customize them fully to your liking

The picture on this thing blew my mind right out of the gate. Just hooked up my Roku, aimed it at the wall, and bam. Super bright, even in daylight with the curtains slightly drawn. It’s quiet too, which is great when it’s sitting right by you. The built-in speaker was a nice surprise as well. The refresh rate keeps up with more intense videos, and setting up Wifi and screen mirroring is a piece of cake with just an app. Bluetooth connects to anything without a fuss.
The autofocus is the best part. A quick nudge gets you in focus, or you can hold it down to zoom in fast. Once it’s set, the colors are just brilliant. Popped in the new Aladdin movie for the review, and it looked fantastic.
Highly recommend this for anyone from casual watchers to gamers and families. You’re getting a steal for the price considering the quality.
Only thing missing? A carrying case. It’s so portable but definitely needs protection.

Alright, diving into a bit of a detailed review here. Short story – this projector is a hit. Simple controls, easy to use, and the projection is bright and colorful. Honestly, if you’re thinking about getting a projector, you could snag this one and you’d be all set.
Diving a bit deeper, a few things stand out. The resolution is sharp at 1080p and 60Hz. Hooked up my PlayStation 5 to see how it holds up with high-quality images and fast action. Wasn’t disappointed at all – no motion blur and games like God of War Ragnarok looked absolutely stunning. Even fast-moving scenes and my PlayStation menu looked crisp. The projector’s brightness is legit, making it perfect for big outdoor viewings, especially as the evening starts to set in.
I’m also liking the built-in Miracast, plus the two HDMI and VGA ports give you plenty of connection options, whether you’re going wireless or plugging in directly.
Lastly, the audio is surprisingly good. Playing God of War, the soundtrack really adds to the experience, and the sound coming out of the projector had me thinking it was my sound bar at first. Might not fill a huge space if it’s packed with people, but for most setups, it’s more than enough.
Straight out of the box, this projector is ready to rock. Spend a little time getting it set up just right, and it’s a fantastic addition to any entertainment setup.

This little projector really brings it with a full-blown projector experience despite its compact size. The menu is super easy to navigate and user-friendly, which I totally dig. Been dabbling in digital decorations for a few years now and decided to up my game in 2023 by branching out. Tested a bunch of projectors, both pricey and budget-friendly, and ended up sticking with the TOPTRO TR25. Just to be clear, no one’s paying me to say this; I’m just a regular guy who loves a good home haunt. (Got some test pics and videos with the TR25 in my garage, minus the extra effects).
It’s perfect for what I need. Bought four TR25s already. Whether it’s projecting onto AtmosFX screens, pumpkins, or 3DFX forms, the clarity is spot on. I load up my edited videos on a Sandisk USB ULTRA fit drive for each projector, hit play, and it runs smoothly all evening. The remote simplifies syncing up the videos – just a quick start and pause, then play, and everything’s in sync.
A few minor gripes but nothing that would stop me from buying more: 1) The dust cap could use an actual attachment point. 2) A storage case would be nice instead of keeping the original boxes. 3) Had to use a plastic washer to fix the tripod thread issue – without it, the projector just spins on the tripod. 4) The TOPTRO website isn’t accessible in the US, which is a bit of a pain. 5) My main peeve is how the title pops up when switching between mp4 clips in the same folder – kinda ruins the illusion. Merging clips into one long video is a workaround, but a firmware update to hide this would be ideal.
All in all, for the price, it’s an excellent projector. Oh, and the electronic focus via the remote is a massive plus for setting up.

Picked this projector for a retirement home and, despite my initial doubts due to its size and the unfamiliar focus button (I’m used to a dial), it really delivers. Managed to use it in a large room with the lights on, projecting directly on the wall. Everyone could see the YouTube presentation streaming from my phone with no lag, clear images, and text. Reading text directly from it might need a bit larger print to be clear, and it might struggle in super bright light, but it was perfect with our lighting setup.
